  1. Hi my name is Marleigh Ragni and I am currently an undergrad freshman in SIS/SPA at American. I have been considering going out for Women’s Rugby here at AU for some time. I was waiting to get settled into the Fall Semester before I wanted to commit to it, but now that I feel comfortable and in the groove I would like to give rugby a shot. My E-Mail is marleighragni@yahoo.com or mr6668a@student.american.edu either of which I will respond to. Thanks so much and I hope to hear back from you soon!

  2. Hi, I’m a juinor starting to look at colleges.I love rugby and have played for my high school for two years. I’ve played hooker, prop, and flanker. I was wondering how American University does compared to other schools in the area. Also, do you guys play more 7s or 15s? Do they red flag applications for rugby at American University?

  3. Hi Ladies! My name is Lyn and I will be coming to the AU campus this summer as a grad student in the health promotion management program. I was a flanker and prop at St. Olaf College in MN as well as with the Chesapeake Women’s 7s and 15s Rugby Team in Baltimore. Just wanted to know more about the team and what the options are for summer play, as well as if grad students are eligible. Thanks!

    • Hey Lyn, welcome! Many of us are not around during the summer, so we don’t have any organized play during that time. However, we’re always looking for more people to join in the fall and spring. Grad students are eligible to play, and we encourage them! Feel free to email Maya at mk5986a@student.american.edu for any other information.
